Best Supplements To Build Muscle
The Best Supplements to build muscle is a topic of great debate amongst body builders and fitness experts. The real issue is deciding what is safe and legal and what isn’t, and if they will work.
The big problem is that they are completely unregulated, even though they are completely legal. In other words what you may be taking could contain absolutely anything and may do nothing at all to help you in your muscle gains.
So are there any supplements I would recommend? Well other that Protein Powders and perhaps Natural Testosterone boosters, I would advise you to stay well away from supplements.
Below are some of the best supplements to build muscle you may want to consider. (NB you should always check with your Doctor before taking any new substance such as the ones listed below)
1. Creatine
Creatine is a very popular supplement that is designed to allow you to work out longer and harder before you feel muscle fatigue. Creatine is naturally found in the body. When you workout your body uses Creatine for energy, but stores of Creatine last for a very short amount of time. Creatine helps you achieve the maximum from your body, by providing more energy than is naturally available to you. I personally don’t use Creatine products, but I know those that do and swear by them. My advice to you would be to try them if you so wish, but be careful. As a said before, supplements such as these are not regulated, and you can’t be certain what goes into them. If you do decide to give them a try, stick to those from reputable companies. Some people believe this is one of the best supplements to build muscle, but I am still unsure of it. The below are some that, if I was to try Creatine, I would consider.
2. Protein Powders
Protein Powders are something that I would definitely recommend you use, and certainly something that I consider to be one of the best supplements to build muscle. Protein is needed by the body to repair and rebuild the muscles that are damaged whilst weight training. Unfortunately the body is very bad at storing protein, and needs constant sources of protein throughout the day in order to efficiently repair the muscles. Ideally you should be getting 1 gram of protein for every pound (Lb) you weigh. This can be very difficult do achieve from just food, especially if you lead a busy life. Protein Powders are therefore very helpful in getting enough protein throughout the day. Remember they are in no way a replacement for proper food, but when used in addition to real food can provide great results. Here are some products I would recommend:
3. Testosterone Boosters
Testosterone is an important hormone in the body that has a great bearing on the muscle gain success you can achieve. Benefits of increased testosterone include:
- Increased muscle size and strength
- Decreased levels of cholesterol
- Decreased levels of body fat
- Increased sex drive
There are methods of naturally increasing you levels of testosterone, but if you need help you can consider the following products
4. Acai Berry
Acai Berry products are the big “fad” product at the moment, mainly due to a feature Oprah did on it! The Acai Berry is a powerful anti-oxidant which is also rich in nutrients. These benefit the body by effectively detoxing the body and cleansing the system. With a clean system, the body can better digest food and increases the metabolism. As a result Acai Berries can aid in weight loss.
I have tried Acai Berry products and I have to say that I did notice a difference in my overall feeling of good health, but that may be coincidence as I didn’t use them for a prolonged period of time. I would advise you to give them a try if you so wish but don’t fall for the scam that I did;
There are many sites offering you free trials of these Acai Berry products, but in reality they are not free. What they advertise is that you will receive a free trial with you only having to pay the post and packaging. But in the small print of the agreement, after 2 weeks of the trial (nowhere near enough time to tell if they work or not), they then begin to charge you upward of $60 per month for the product until you phone and cancel. This isn’t made obviouse to you, and you have to read the small print carefully to find this. Unfortunately I didn’t read this properly, and it was only 3 months and a couple of hundred dollars later that I realised what was going on. Is this one of the best supplements to build muscle? I'm not sure as I haven't tried it out for a long enough period of time.
So if you want to try them, feel free, but DO NOT try them one these free trials. You can pick them up from reputable sources for much, much cheaper. Here are some you may want to consider.
5. Multivitamins
Perhaps not a Supplement, but multivitamins can be very helpful. It is vitally important for you to be in the best health possible to achieve the best results possible. Vitamins and minerals are necessary to keep in good health, but some people can struggle to get enough of these from their food intake. Multivitamins help, but should not be a substitute for real food, but should be used in addition. Some you may want to consider:
The products I have recommended on this page are all available on Amazon. I use Amazon as they usually have low prices and are the company that I trust most when buying on the internet. You may want to shop around for better prices, but you can’t really go wrong with Amazon.
Remember these are just my recomendations of the ones I would try. If you want to try any of these, please thouroughly research them yourself, and consult your doctor before using any of these. I cannot be held responsible for any reprecussions if you fail to do so.
While these supplemets can help, these are not absolutely necessary to build muscle. The No Nonsense Muscle Building program is completely supplement free. Grab yourself a copy >>HERE<<
These are just what I consider to be the best supplements to build muscle, and I highly suggest you do your own research before taking anything.
