Many people would love to have a flat stomach with firm, toned abs and a six pack. But what are the best ab exercises to achieve this?

Well first off, I would like to point out that if getting a six pack is your goal, doing loads of the best ab exercises will not get you the results you want. To really get a six pack you have to focus on what is on top of those abs, stopping them from showing through. For the majority of people that regularly do any kind of weight training or sporting activities, you probably already have decent ab muscles. But you don’t have a six pack because they are being covered by a layer of fat. So to get a great looking six pack, you need to lose the fat.

That being said, strengthening your ab muscles, and therefore your core strength, is still really important for your muscle building and fitness efforts.
