Skinny Guy Build Muscle
In order to overcome your “skinny gene” there are a few things that you have to change about the way you workout, how often you workout, and probably your diet.
Your Skinny Guy Build Muscle Workout
If you have ever seen professional bodybuilders, either on tv or in magazines, you have probably seen them doing exercises that isolate just a single muscle group and work on getting certain muscles bigger at a time. They also spend hours a day in the gym, lifting weights and doing cardio to lose the fat.
But for 95% of people, this approach does not work. Sure, once you have a huge frame and want to build certain muscles this is the way to go, but if you are skinny and want to build muscle, this will not work for you.
To build real muscle, you have to be doing exercises that workout a number of different muscle groups at the same time. Not only will this save you time in the gym, it will also allow you to lift heavier weights. And to really build muscle, you have to lift heavy weights. Exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press, barbell curls, pull-ups and push-ups should be at the core of your workouts. Lifting heavy weights will increase the levels of testosterone in your body, which you need in order to build muscle.
Skinny Guy Build Muscle – When To Workout
You may find this strange, but if you really want to build muscle and get big, you need to spend a lot less time in the gym than those professional body-builders.
You should only be working out and lifting weights 3-4 times a week, and each of these workout sessions shouldn’t last any more than 45 minutes.
Muscles don’t grow when you are lifting weights. They grow when you are resting, and they have a chance to heal and repair. When you lift weights, the muscles become torn and damages and need to be repaired. When they heal themselves, they grow bigger and stronger so that the next time they are needed to lift weight, they can better handle the strains put upon them. If you don’t give them the chance to rest and heal, they will never grow and you will be completely wasting your time.
